Estepona, with its charming, historic town centred around Plaza des Flores, and quaint port (the Puerto de Estepona) gives you the feeling that you are in ‘the real’ Spain. Estepona: Restaurants & Cafes

Reinaldo

Here, at the entrance to the Marina you can relax on the terrace or open bar, taking in the views, vibrant atmosphere and sea air. This very well decorated restaurant has a good, varied menu at reasonable prices and happy hour from 6pm to 8pm.


Rosatti

Situated in the Puerto de Estepona, on the upper level overlooking the port. The pizza comes highly recommended as does the extensive selection of pasta dishes. Open from 7pm daily, but closed on Wednesdays.

Sacha's

For those who like their food spicy, Sacha’s is an Indian restaurant right in the port. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent with delicious traditional favourites and many house specialties, all with that zing!

La Alborada

Located in Puerto de Estepona and a favourite with locals, if you’ve never tried Paella before, this is the place. Many other delicious Mediterranean dishes are on offer and it's open for lunch and dinner.

Chocolate & Churros

Traditional churros (Spanish doughnuts you can dunk in chocolate and mainly eaten at breakfast) are a specialty of this typical Andalusian style bar. This is a pleasant place to mingle with the locals and enjoy the old town coming to life in the morning.


Bar Sureña

A great place for the family evening meal, this typical Andalucian tapas bar has a spacious terrace and is located in the charming Plaza des Floreshas.


El Tipico Andaluz

Located in Calle Caridad, this is a popular restaurant with some interesting dishes such as the 'Plaza de Toros' - cold meats, sausages and cheese. Real Andalucian food at good prices.


Meson Cordobes

Another typical Andalucian style restaurant bar where the food is good and affordable. Located in the Plaza de las Flores, surrounded by flowers, with the town clock tower overhead, the charming atmosphere makes for a popular lunch time or evening venue.


Los Cazadores

A favourite with the locals, reservations are recommended at this popular portside restaurant with its large terrace, Mediterranean cuisine and friendly staff. They are closed on Tuesdays all day.

4 Friends

This new sports bar located in the port of Estepona is a comfortable, reasonably priced English style restaurant. The traditional English breakfast and Sunday roast are favourites - and the karaoke on Saturday and Sunday nights attracts a family crowd.


Elemi

To be found at the rear of the port near to the boat roundabout, this extremely friendly health café offers light and healthy snacks and a good selection of natural shakes. They also have a health and beauty centre right next door.

Estepona : Bars & Clubs

Tolone

Specialising in cocktails, milkshakes, coffees and teas, this is a true cocktail lounge. Small inside with seating outside, it can get packed due to the keen prices and enticing selection of drinks.

A perfect place to enjoy drinks before or after dinner.


La Bulla

Located on Calle Real, this is a loud, vibrant and truly Spanish drinking and music venue. Prices are competitive, so it’s a great place to start your evening out.


O’Donoghues Irish Pub

One of the largest bars around the port, this tastefully decorated Irish bar has regular theme and music nights and a quiz every Wednesday. With a wide variety of drinks and very friendly bar staff, it’s open from early evening until 5am – at its busiest from 8-11pm.


El Duende

A trendy flamenco bar with well priced drinks and Spanish music to keep you dancing all night. It gets very busy at weekends - Saturday night is ladies night (free entry for ladies, 10 euros for gents) when it opens as a nightclub later in the evening.


La Bomba

Very close to the O’Donoghues is La Bomba, a small South American bar with Latin music and regular live music nights. A favourite with younger locals, it opens late and closes early in the mornng!


Atico

Although a little pricier than others in the port, this is a very popular nightclub playing mainstream Spanish and European music. The large terrace, decked out like a tropical garden, has good cover and outside heaters so it can be used all year round.


Peoples

Another popular bar with a typically Spanish playlist located near Atico. Chilled out and slightly pricier than others, they have a good selection of bottled beer (none on tap) and other drinks available. Small inside, with a large terrace to take in the long summer evenings and cool vibes.


Palm Beach Puerto

With DJs playing hi-energy Euro dance music, this British influenced, international-style nightclub attracts a young crowd and is open until the early hours.


Pub Budas

With its popular dance music policy and reasonably priced drinks, this heaving venue in the port is a true ‘party-goers’ venue. Open ‘til late (or actually, early)


Plato68 Disco Estepona

Another big name club in the area is Estepona's Plato68. Open every Friday and Saturday night from midnight until 7am, it features big name guest DJs such as Carl Cox, and offers limousine hire so you can arrive in style for the big night out. Victor's Beach

Located just off Marbella’s 'golden mile', this is a great place to relax. With its laid back, friendly atmosphere, Afro-Caribbean cuisine on the barbecue and reggae music (Sundays @ 3pm), it’s a genuinely pleasurable place to spend the afternoon.

Nikki Beach

Only 7km from the centre of Marbella, this sophisticated club is renowned for its designer luxury. Part of a worldwide network with other venues are in Miami, Hollywood, New York and Saint Tropez, it has over 20 years experience, boasting all the services you would expect from an international club of this status. Some of the best sushi in the area is available here, along with other delicacies ranging from Thai to traditional Spanish food. Casino Nueva Andalucía Marbella S.A.

On the N340 between Puerto Banus and Estepona, this impressive location offers guests more than just gaming. Open everyday from 7pm until 5am, with French and American Roulette, Black Jack, Poker Caribbean-style, midi punto y banca, slot machines, two bars and an international restaurant as well as scheduled events and activities. There is a Jazz Night with live music every Saturday until August, the San Bernabé Gastronomy Fair from June 10th-14th and much more. If that’s not enough for you then the 'Croupier's School' is also held at the casino (apply online or you can call them direct). You will need your passport or driver's licence to get in and remember there is a dress code – shorts and sports shoes are not permitted.

Dreamer's Disco

Ocean Club Marbella

After a complete refurbishment the Ocean Club Marbella has opened its doors again. At 9,000 square metres, it is one of the largest beach clubs in Europe, and holds the world record for champagne spraying! (the legendary champagne party starts at 5pm on the last Sunday of every month). The club features guest DJs, a range of shops, spa, massage, large swimming pool and beach area with 150 sunbeds.
