MUNICIPAL MUSEUM - THE CHURCH OF LOS REMEDIOS & CLOCK TOWER THE BULLRING

The Bullring at Estepona was created by Juan Moro Urbano and built in 1972. Its asymmetric design is exceptional as it allows access to the upper tiers without steps or stairways. Over the year around 16 bullfights are held here and concerts are common during the summer months. It is also home to the Municipal Museums of Bullfighting and the Museum of Agriculture, Fossils and Archeology.


CASTLE OF SAN LUIS

Built by the catholic Kings and Queens of the 16th century to defend against Muslim invasion.


ALMENARA TOWERS

Built as part of Spain’s defences and up to 11M tall, you’ll see them dotted along the coastline in various states of repair. They were used by both Catholics and Muslims, they have been reconstructed many times over the centuries.


HOUSE OF CULTURE

This is a quaint place right in the Plaza de las Flores that’s well worth a visit on your way to dinner. Give them a call to find out about their current exhibition.

LIGHTHOUSE OF PUNTA DONCELLA

At the entrance of the Puerto de Estepona, you’ll see the lighthouse, originally constructed in 1861 and currently being restored, 21 metres high. Its light can be seen 18 miles out to sea.

Also within the Plaza de Toros, this museum is dedicated to Antonio Ordoñez, the famous Spanish bullfighter who faced over a 1000 bulls in his career.
